About us

Johnson Signs was founded in 1968 by David Johnson following graduation from Kingston College London, all work from this time until the mid 1980’s was by ‘brush and stick’, molestick still has pride of place in our office. With the advent of computer aided design in the 1980’s the company utalised this new technology and we have continually updated our systems to the present day. Gil Johnson, David’s son joined the company in 1992 and has helped expand the Johnson Signs through to its recent merger with the Lustalux Group in October 2009.

Both the traditional and modern techniques of signmaking have been passed down to the next generation, and this new partnership provides a wonderful opportunity for both companies to culminate a variety of skills, experiences, knowledge and technology to provide an even better service for the future.

Our full in-house service and highly experienced staff enable us to deal with all aspects of modern sign manufacturing. From initial concept and design to finished product, installation and maintenance, our expertise can prove invaluable.
